Description:
Alloy 200 is technically pure nickel. This material is characterized by its high ductility, good thermal conductivity and excellent resistance to a large number of corrosive media.
Alloy 201 is essentially similar to material 200, but with a limited carbon content
Due to its resistance to acids, alkalis, neutral salt solutions and organic acids, the material is used in the food industry when fruit juices, fatty acids or cooling brine are used.
Nickel 201 should be used at operating temperatures of more than 300 ° C. Due to the lower carbon content, the strength properties deteriorate, but the ductility is increased and the material is resistant to chlorine and hydrogen chloride up to temperatures of approx. 550 ° C.
