NiCu7 welding wire is for welding corrosion-resistant nickel-copper alloys to each other and to steels, copper alloys containing nickel and nickel-based alloys, and for applying anti-corrosion coatings to low-carbon and low-carbon alloy structural steels. The weld metal is tear-resistant, sufficiently malleable and meets the highest requirements for corrosion resistance in seawater, acids and alkalis. NiCu-7 wire is used for welding corrosion-resistant Monel alloys in gasoline and ammonium sulphate plants, as well as in power plants. EWC NiCu7 contains enough titanium to control the porosity of the weld metal.
The material 2.4377 contains carbon, copper, iron, manganese, nickel, niobium, silicon, sulfur and titanium.
