Alloy C276 / 2.4819 based on nickel is alloyed with chromium, molybdenum and vanadium. It is mainly used in the chemical industry for the production of parts that are operated under moderate loads, in aggressive environments and at temperatures of up to 500 °C.
Sheets of this brand are used in flat parts as well as in welded tubes with large and small diameters.
2.4819 sheet is one of the most durable general-purpose alloys in terms of resistance and neutrality to all known corrosive attacks. They are used well in any chemical environment. Alloy C276 is resistant to localised and crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and high temperatures.
Properties of the material 2.4819:
- Particular resistance to crevice and pitting corrosion, stress corrosion cracking
- high chromium and molybdenum content make the alloy resistant to chloride ion attack
- Suitable for temperatures up to 500 °C
