Description:
CuNi welding wire 2.0837 is very well suited for highly stressed, corrosion-resistant build-up welds on cast iron and low-alloy steels, as well as seawater-resistant CuZn alloys. Well suited for welding on CuNi materials. The material 2.0837 is particularly recommended in the field of plant construction
CuNi welding wire made of copper alloy with added nickel is used to strengthen the weld metal and improve corrosion resistance, especially in contact with salt water.
The weld metal has good hot and cold ductility and excellent corrosion resistance in saline solutions.
Properties of the material 2.0837:
- excellent corrosion resistance;
- good ductility.
This mark can be used:
- for welding and surface welding of alloys of the same composition;
- for joint welding of this alloy with steel, copper/nickel and other nickel alloys;
- for surface welding in conditions requiring high resistance to corrosion, erosion or cavitation;
