Description:
If you need wire made of the material 2.4654, you can buy it at the Auremo online shop at reasonable prices.
In addition to 17-22% nickel, Waspaloy® stainless steel contains up to 14% cobalt, up to 5% molybdenum and up to 3% titanium. The material 2.4654 has a high resistance to cracking when exposed to stresses caused by aging. It also has impressive heat resistance. The high-temperature strength of the alloy is achieved through solid solution strengthening elements, molybdenum, cobalt and chromium, and aging elements, aluminum and titanium. The nickel alloy retains its properties at temperatures up to 870°C and high resistance to oxidation at temperatures up to 650°C.
W.Nr. 2.4654 / Waspaloy® is used for gas turbine engine components that require significant strength and corrosion resistance at high operating temperatures. Current and potential applications include compressor and rotor disks, shafts, spacers, seals, fasteners and a variety of missile systems.
Properties of the material 2.4654:
- good corrosion resistance
- high crack resistance
