The steel hn70u is a heat-resistant, high-alloyed, limited weldable alloy, which is widely used in construction, apparatus engineering and various areas of light and heavy industry. This alloy is characterised by a high content of various alloying elements, which give it the highest strength, heat resistance and other advantages.
At 65 to 71%, nickel makes up the largest proportion of the composition of this alloy, with chromium accounting for 26 to 29%. Aluminium, iron and other components are also present. This ratio of components makes the hn70u alloy heat-resistant and high-strength.
The alloy has increased heat resistance, but has been observed to behave unreliably in sulphurous environments.
The material hn70u is used for the production of parts for gas pipe systems that are operated at 1100-1200 °C under moderate stress.
