The titanium alloy PT7M is characterized by its good corrosion resistance and formability, especially at room temperature. However, it has relatively low strength and is prone to hydrogen embrittlement. The main components of this alloy are aluminum, zirconium, and iron, with additional impurities such as silicon, oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, and hydrogen present.

This alloy is not thermally hardened and can be welded without restrictions. The strength and ductility of the weld seam are approximately the same as the base material values. Titanium PT7M is used for manufacturing thin-walled components with complex shapes through welding or cold forming and is in high demand in various fields of modern mechanical engineering.
