The material 3.1645, AW-2007 is an aluminium alloy with a copper content of 3.3 - 4.6 %. This alloy AW-2007 is very suitable for high machining speeds. This material is very good for thread cutting. Besides copper, it also contains magnesium and lead. This material is often used for the production of machine parts, screws and nuts. However, because of its copper content, it is poorly weldable and not very resistant to corrosion.

The material 3.1645 has very good erosion and machining properties.
