High alloy structural steel 1.4923 is also classified as heat resistant steel - it is a martensitic steel used for parts, sub-assemblies and forgings of blades and parts of steam turbine rotors operating at temperatures up to 600°C. The material 1.4923 is also used in the chemical and petrochemical industry as well as parts for the energy industry.
Stainless steel 1.4923 is martensitic stainless steel, which is heat resistant. Due to the low chromium content in the chemical composition, the stainless steel grade has limited corrosion resistance. Stainless steel grade 1.4923 is tough and has good mechanical properties at room temperature. It also shows good mechanical properties at high temperatures such as 580 °C. The material 1.4923 can be used in power generation plants, chemical production plants, etc. without any problems.
