Bar Stainless Steel From 3mm To 625mm Round Bar 1.4404 AISI 316L Solid Material
Length tolerance +/-3mm
Description:
AISI 316L is a cryogenic austenitic steel. This steel is resistant to corrosion in aggressive environments and to most external influences. 316L steel has the property of maintaining the integrity of the structure as temperature rises and falls.
Due to the low carbon content of 316L steel, it is optimal for building welded structures. The molybdenum content protects 316L steel from damage caused by seawater and acetic acid fumes. An alloy of iron and chromium forms a protective layer on the surface of Aisi 316L steel, resistant to mechanical and chemical attack.
Due to their properties, rods 1.4404 are used in many areas: in architecture and the construction industry for facades, roofs, all types of cladding and other architectural elements, especially for outdoor use, technical applications, for example for the construction of specialized industrial plants in the chemical industry, Food, paper and cellulose manufacturing, mining, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries for the construction of vessels, tanks, pipes and others.
Properties of the material 1.4404:
- good corrosion resistance
- polishable
