The material 1.4876 is an austenitic, heat-resistant nickel-iron-chromium solid solution with controlled content of carbon, aluminum, titanium, silicon and manganese and Al + Ti. It has good toughness and excellent oxidation and carbonization stability at high temperatures and good corrosion resistance to many aqueous solutions. The bars made of the material 1.4876 also have a high-temperature-resistant austenitic structure.
The rods 1.4876 are used in industrial furnaces, smoldering plants, steam boiler construction, apparatus construction, oil industry, heat exchangers, high-temperature areas in power plants for refineries.
The 1.4876 alloy has good creep resistance at temperatures above 600 °C. Al + Ti content is limited to 0.7% maximum to prevent strength drop between 500 and 700°C good resistance to oxidizing, reducing and nitriding environments and alternating oxidizing and carburizing conditions. This alloy has metallurgical stability in long-term use at high temperatures.
