Due to the unique properties of aluminium, aluminium cubes are in great demand in metallurgy. Cubes made of aluminium and its alloys are practically not used as a finished product. It is a semi-finished product that is further processed by stamping, rolling, forging, etc. Cubes are used to produce aluminium sheets, plates, rods and other rolled aluminium products.

Aluminium has a rare combination of valuable properties. It is one of the lightest metals found in nature. It is almost three times lighter than iron, but at the same time strong, extremely malleable and corrosion-resistant, as its surface is always coated with a thin but very resistant oxide layer. It is non-magnetic, is an excellent conductor of electricity and forms alloys with almost all metals. Aluminium can be welded well using various welding processes. An important property is its low density of around 2.7 g/cm³. The melting point is approx. 660 °C.

Aluminium can be worked well by pressure both hot and cold. It can be rolled, drawn and punched. Aluminium does not burn, does not require special painting and, unlike plastics, is non-toxic.
