Description:
Aluminium tape consists of a thin aluminium foil and is supplied in roll form. Alloy of aluminium, magnesium and silicon with the material number 3.0255 is used in the production of the strip. It has very good weldability, excellent corrosion resistance (even in seawater) and good cold forming properties. Aluminium strip has very good thermal and electrical conductivity and excellent durability. It can also be anodised.
Aluminium strip is well suited for friction, soft and hard soldering and has good machinability in the hardened state. It has a high specific strength and can be alloyed with other metals.
Due to its excellent properties, aluminium strip enjoys great popularity in various fields. The most important areas of application are:
