Description:
Austenitic steels AISI 316Ti are heat-resistant steels with high corrosion resistance. The alloy contains titanium, which makes steel somewhat difficult to process and weld, but at the same time provides excellent strength and wear resistance.
The composition of heat-resistant stainless steel AISI 316Ti is quite similar to its analogue - AISI 316. The main difference is the presence in the composition of molybdenum (up to 2.5%) and titanium (0.5%). Chromium and nickel additions are also present.
Molybdenum components give the highest resistance to corrosion, resistance to acidic vapors, chlorine compounds, sea water. Titanium additions increase the mechanical strength of the alloy and give the steel longer durability.
AISI 316Ti chromium-nickel steel is used in a wide variety of applications. It is used in the manufacture of pipelines, vessels and tanks for the needs of the food and chemical industries. Steel is neutral to acids and alkalis, does not interact with aggressive components of the environment and the product.
It is in demand in the oil and gas industry, in medicine and pharmacology. It is used to manufacture all kinds of working tools, bearing parts, springs, turbine elements and automobile engines. It is the main alloy for the construction of structures with increased strength and durability requirements.
