The material 2.4669 is one of the most widely used materials among the nickel-based superalloys. It is a material that can withstand even highly corrosive environments, can be hardened through aging and is essentially formed by the combination of nickel and chromium elements. Another common name for 2.4669 is UNS N07750. It contains around 70% nickel and around 17% chromium and is resistant to oxidation up to 704 °C and has very high mechanical strength. Material 2.4669 begins to lose mechanical strength above this temperature, but retains some strength up to 982 °C. In addition, it can retain its properties even at cryogenic temperatures. Inconel X750 / Alloy X-750 is versatile.
It is used in gas turbines, wheels and blades, turbine bolts, other turbine connections and parts in rocket engines. High-pressure-resistant rods made of the material 2.4669 are also often used in high-pressure tanks. This material is used in heat transfer joints, extrusion thrust sets and many other parts that require high mechanical resistance. In addition, 2.4669 is preferred for fasteners such as springs and screws in environments that often work below zero.
