2.4066 (Alloy 200) is unalloyed nickel with excellent corrosion resistance and shows high resistance to alkaline agents and good mechanical properties over a wide temperature range. The material 2.4066 has good corrosion resistance under reducing conditions, e.g. B. hydrofluoric / hydrochloric acids.
Alloy 200 works particularly well in reducing conditions. It can be used in oxidizing agents if the passivating agent forms an oxide layer. It has excellent mechanical properties.
Depending on the product shape, rolled products can be supplied with different heat treatment conditions. Nickel 200 can be formed in all hot and cold working conditions.
The material is used to transport chemicals and to manufacture components in the aerospace industry. In addition, the use of nickel 200 has expanded to electrical and electronic components due to the physical properties of materials, including magnetic and magnetostrictive properties, thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity.
