Due to its strong alloy, this steel has high corrosion properties that are significantly higher than those of steels from the chromium-nickel-molybdenum group.
Round bar made of the material 1.4539 can be welded in any way, although this type of steel tends to crack hot. Welding without additional materials is not recommended, since the tendency to hot cracking then only increases. By using filler metals of the same grade as the material being welded, the amount of energy released is reduced, reducing or even preventing fusion.
