The material 2.4819 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy. Nickel alloy tubing exhibits excellent resistance to corrosion under both reducing and oxidizing conditions. These tubes are resistant to hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide and chlorine gas.
Alloy 600's high chromium content greatly improves its oxidation stability compared to pure nickel, and the high nickel content provides good corrosion resistance under reducing conditions. This alloy is highly resistant to stress and salt water, exhaust fumes and most organic acids and compounds.
Because of their high performance, nickel alloys are widely used in modern industry. The unique properties of the material are due to its balanced composition.
