The material 2.4819 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy. Tubes made from this nickel alloy are characterised by excellent corrosion resistance under reducing and oxidising conditions. These pipes are resistant to hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide and chlorine gas.
The high chromium content of Alloy 600 significantly improves oxidation resistance compared to pure nickel, and the high nickel content ensures good corrosion resistance under reducing conditions. This alloy is highly resistant to stress, salt water, exhaust gases and most organic acids and compounds.
Due to their high performance, nickel alloys are widely used in modern industry. The unique properties of this material are due to its balanced composition. With the advent of this new generation of materials, it has become possible to improve many technological processes where production is exposed to high temperatures and corrosive environments.
