If you need bars made of material 1.3964, you can buy them at the online shop Auremo at reasonable prices.

The material 1.3964 has non-magnetic properties due to its high alloy content. This high alloy content also results in high tensile and yield strengths with very good corrosion resistance, particularly in seawater and coastal environments.

1.3964 has excellent corrosion resistance in rural, industrial and coastal environments and can be used in the food and beverage industry provided acid levels are not too high.

Due to the low carbon content of 1.3964, no chromium carbides are formed during welding. If an additional material is required, grades 1.3954 and 1.3984 can be used. If heat treatment after welding is unavoidable due to excessive cold, deformation or high wall thickness, the aforementioned heat treatment can be carried out.

When forging 1.3964, the workpieces are usually preheated to 950 °C - 1150 °C, with forging between 900 °C and 1100 °C. After forging, the forged component must be rapidly cooled in either air or water to avoid the formation of undesirable phases that could adversely affect corrosion and/or mechanical properties.
