Stainless steel 08x18h10t belongs to the category of corrosion and heat-resistant chrome-nickel alloys. The high mechanical strength and durability of the material allow its use in the manufacture of various parts intended for use in aggressive environments and at high temperatures.
The chemical composition of 08x18h10t according to GOST-5632 consists of three main elements - iron (about 65%), chromium (17-19%), and nickel (9-11%), which determine the most important functional and technical properties of the material. A high chromium content ensures corrosion resistance, nickel influences mechanical strength and heat resistance, and a low titanium content indicates deformation resistance. The presence of sulfur, silicon, copper, and phosphorus in small amounts in the chemical composition of the steel has practically no effect on its fundamental properties.
