Stainless steel sheet 0.3–10mm 1.4841 plates 314 strips custom-cut selectable
Stainless steel sheet 1.4841 (AISI 314) – austenitic CrNi steel, chemically resistant up to approx. 1100°C, very good scale resistance, non-magnetizable, weldable well without preheating. Use in furnace construction, the oil industry, chemical industry and waste incineration plants. Available from Auremo.
For the width and length of the sheet metal cut-to-size, the tolerance is +/-3mm
Important: Sheet metal cut-to-size is not suitable for decorative or visible areas. Cutting is done with a guillotine shear. Edges are sharp! Not all sheets are in protective film. Surface is pure industrial quality - scratches cannot be ruled out! Please request separately in advance - we will try to find a solution for you.
Description:
The material 1.4841 is an austenitic steel. Stainless steel sheet 1.4841 is chemically resistant up to approximately 1100 °C. This steel is heat-resistant and can be welded very well without preheating. It shows good mechanical properties and very good scale resistance in dry air.
Due to its high nickel content, it is already austenitic at room temperature and therefore does not develop hardness. It is also a non-magnetizable steel.
AISI 314, due to its high nickel content, belongs to the class of austenitic stainless steels. It is referred to as a material with high temperature resistance because the phase structure does not change at high service temperatures and room temperature, making it suitable for such applications. A high nickel and chromium content also ensures high corrosion resistance.
Especially in high-temperature applications, annealing and heat-treatment furnaces, crucibles, heat exchangers, steam boilers, high-temperature forming, glass production, porcelain firing burners, nozzles, glass furnaces, rings, grates, thermocouple protection tubes, pipes and cylindrical parts of the petrochemical industry, furnace covers, recuperators, fans, pipe clamps—in short, almost all areas with high temperature and corrosion wear.
Properties of material 1.4841:
- good heat resistance
- good forgeability
- good weldability
- corrosion resistance
Use of stainless steel sheet 1.4841:
- furnace construction, equipment construction and mechanical engineering
- oil industry, chemical industry, petrochemical industry
- waste incineration plants
- cement chain industry
