For the width and length of a sheet metal blank, the tolerance is +/-2mm. Important: Sheet metal blanks are not suitable for decorative or visible areas. Scratches are not excluded. Surface is pure industrial quality. Cut with a guillotine shear. Not all sheets have protective film. Please request separately if surface quality is relevant for you—we will try to find a solution for you.

Stainless steel 1.4574, also referred to as martensitic stainless steel, is characterized by a high content of chromium and nickel, as well as low amounts of carbon and manganese. This alloy offers excellent corrosion resistance, especially in mildly corrosive and acid-containing environments.
Thanks to its high strength and hardness, 1.4574 is ideal for applications where mechanical strength and wear resistance are important. In addition, it has moderate heat resistance, making it suitable for use at medium temperatures.
Processing stainless steel 1.4574 is possible, but due to its hardness it often requires special techniques. Welding is also possible, although preheating and post-treatment may be necessary to avoid cracking.
