Description:
A rod made of stainless steel consists of various alloys. These metals differ in composition and alloying elements. Additionally, the alloys differ in their physical properties due to different grades.
1.4301 is the standard among austenitic chrome-nickel steels. Due to its high corrosion resistance and good workability, it is used in many areas. Material 1.4301 has good corrosion resistance in natural environments (water, rural and urban atmosphere). 1.4301 is weldable with or without filler material.
Round bars made of stainless steel 1.4301 have good oxidation resistance in environments with continuous heat of 925 °C, occasionally reaching 870 °C. However, corrosion resistance decreases when the environment is aqueous and the temperature is between 425 and 860 °C.
