Steel hn70u is a heat-resistant, high-alloy, limited weldable alloy widely used in construction, apparatus engineering, and various fields of light and heavy industry. This alloy is characterized by a high content of various alloying elements, providing it with the highest strength, heat resistance, and other advantages.
Nickel has the largest share in the composition of this alloy at 65 to 71%, with the chromium content ranging from 26 to 29%. It also contains aluminum, iron, and other components. This ratio of components makes the hn70u alloy heat-resistant and high-strength.
The alloy exhibits increased heat strength but is observed to be unreliable in sulfur-containing environments.
The hn70u material is used for manufacturing parts for gas pipeline systems that operate at 1100-1200 °C under moderate stress.
