The material 2.4669 is one of the most widely used materials among nickel-based superalloys. It is a material that is resistant even in highly corrosive environments, can be hardened by aging, and essentially consists of a combination of nickel and chrome elements. Another common designation for 2.4669 is UNS N07750. It contains about 70% nickel and about 17% chromium, is oxidation resistant up to 704°C, and has very high mechanical strength.
Above this temperature, the material 2.4669 begins to lose its mechanical strength but retains it up to 982°C. Furthermore, it retains its properties even at cryogenic temperatures.
Inconel X-750 / Alloy X-750 is versatile. It is used in gas turbines, wheels and blades, turbine bolts, other turbine connections, and parts of rocket engines. High-pressure resistant bars made from material 2.4669 are also frequently used in high-pressure containers. This material is used for heat transfer seals, extrusion sliders, and many other parts that require high mechanical strength. In addition, 2.4669 is preferred for fasteners such as springs and screws in environments where work is often done below zero degrees Celsius.
