The typical composition of Alloy A-286 includes about 24-27% chromium, 13-16% nickel, 1.5-2.5% molybdenum, 1-1.5% titanium, 0.1-0.3% vanadium, as well as traces of carbon, manganese, and silicon.
The production of Alloy A-286 involves various processes such as forging, casting, and machining. It is well weldable and can be optimized by heat treatment to enhance certain properties.
