The material 2.4856 is characterized by excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, erosion, and intergranular corrosion. The wire made from material 2.4856 has high resistance to mineral acids and alkalis and organic acids such as nitric, phosphoric, sulfuric, and hydrochloric acid and excellent mechanical properties.
The wire made from 2.4856 / Alloy 625 is used in the oil and gas industry, chemical industry, marine engineering, and environmental engineering.
The wire made from material 2.4856 is used as a suitable filler material for corrosion-resistant coatings of less resistant steels.
