Aluminium sheet 0.6-10mm AlMg3 - 3.3535 aluminium plates sheet metal cut to size selectable custom dimensions
Aluminium sheet EN AW-5754 (3.3535) – AlMg alloy, high strength, excellent corrosion resistance in seawater and weather conditions, very weldable, good for cold forming. Used in shipbuilding, vehicle construction, food industry and chemical industry. Available from Auremo.
For the width and length of a sheet metal cut, the tolerance is +/-3mm
Important: Sheet metal cuttings are not suitable for decorative or visible areas. Cutting is done with a guillotine shear. Edges are sharp! Not all sheets are in protective film. Surface is pure industrial quality—scratches cannot be ruled out! Please request separately in advance—we will try to find a solution for you.
Description:
The material 3.3535, widely known as EN AW-5754. This material refers to the group of aluminium-magnesium alloys. Aluminium sheet made from material 3.3535 has high strength values among naturally hard aluminium alloys and additionally offers excellent corrosion resistance in seawater and in weathering.
EN-AW-5754 also stands out for excellent weldability and has high material fatigue values. Strength in applications at temperatures around 65–160 °C is very good; however, the alloy is not suitable for thin and complex extruded applications.
Material 3.3535 can be cold-formed well and can be welded very effectively using all standard processes. The alloy is also suitable for machining (chip-removing) processing.
Aluminium sheet made from material 3.3535 is used in the chemical and process industries, in container construction in transport, as well as for structural applications in construction and ship fittings, and generally comes into use in extremely low temperatures.
Properties of material 3.3535:
- very good seawater resistance
- very good weather resistance
- good decorative anodizing quality
- good weldability
- very good hard anodizing
- very good dimensional stability
Main applications of material 3.3535:
- shipbuilding
- apparatus construction
- food industry
- vehicle construction
- chemical industry
