Titanium Sheet 0.5-10mm Grade 5 3.7165 Plates Titanium sheet selectable 100-1000mm
Titanium Grade 5 (3.7165 / Ti-6Al-4V) – high-strength titanium alloy, good toughness, very good corrosion resistance, easy to weld and good for hot forming. Used in aerospace, plant and mechanical engineering, chemical industry, and ultrasonic technology. Available from Auremo.
For the width and length of a sheet cut-to-size, the tolerance is +/-3mm
Important: Sheet cut-to-size is not suitable for decorative or visible areas. Cutting is done with a guillotine shear. Edges are sharp! Not all sheets are in protective film. Surface is pure industrial quality - scratches cannot be ruled out! Please request separately in advance - we will try to find a solution for you.

Description:
Titanium Grade 5 is a titanium alloy for the primary forming of forged parts. 3.7165 is the EN designation for this material. R56400 is the UNS number. Ti-6Al-4V is the common commercial name. The ASTM designation is Titanium Grade 5.
Among the forged titanium alloys, it has a relatively low density. It also has a moderately high heat capacity and a relatively high melting temperature.
Titanium sheets 3.7165 are used in particular for the manufacture of structural and powertrain components, but also for fastening elements in aviation. Material 3.7165 is highly resistant to corrosion and is therefore suitable for use in marine environments, in the surface treatment industry, and in the deck equipment industry. The material is mainly available in the annealed condition, but it can also be processed up to a temperature of almost 350 °C.
Titanium Grade 5 is highly resistant to general corrosion and pitting. Chlorinated solvents should be avoided. Titanium is also susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement, so it is important to limit the supply of oxygen during heat treatment or chemical pickling.
Properties of material 3.7165:
- high strength
- good toughness
- good hot forming and weldability
- very good corrosion resistance
Main application of material 3.7165:
- plant and mechanical engineering
- aerospace
- ultrasonic technology
- chemical industry
