Important: Sheet metal cut-to-size is not suitable for decorative or visible areas. Cutting is done with a guillotine shear. Edges are sharp! Not all sheets are in protective film. Surface is pure industrial quality - scratches are not excluded! Please request separately in advance - we will try to find a solution for you.
Description:
Brass sheet metal is an alloy of copper and zinc that is formed into sheet metal. Brass sheet metal is produced by cold or hot rolling. Brass sheet metal is used successfully in almost all industries as well as in the household sector.
All types of rolled brass and especially brass sheet metal are characterized by sufficiently high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. The material CuZn37 has good resistance to water, water vapor, various salt solutions, and many organic liquids. These indicators are, for example, higher for a brass sheet than for a copper sheet. The appearance of the material is very pleasant; it does not deteriorate during operation. Decorative products are often made from brass sheets. It is very easy to polish. For CuZn37, high hardness and strength values can only be achieved through cold forming. Brass sheets 2.0321 are very well suited for cold forming (cold forming degree between annealing cycles max. 65%) and are also formable by hot forming.
