Important: Sheet metal cut-to-size is not suitable for decorative or visible areas. Cutting is done with a guillotine shear. Edges are sharp! Not all sheets are in protective film. Surface is pure industrial quality—scratches cannot be ruled out! Please request separately in advance—we will try to find a solution for you.

The good wear resistance of these steels is achieved through quenching and tempering. The high hardness (300-500 HB) significantly extends the service life of abrasive-stressed structures.
These steels are suitable for a wide range of applications in structural steel and metal construction, in the apparatus industry, in the pipe industry, and in tank and container construction, and they are well weldable using all standard processes. These structural steels can be used wherever a minimum yield strength is required and static requirements must be met.
Welding S235 does not require special conditions and is permissible in every respect both in industrial facilities and on construction sites outdoors. Using electric arc welding, spot welding, automatic submerged arc welding, or manual arc welding, simple and complex metal structures can be produced without preheating or heat treatment. Welding of Art. C235 does not cause cracks or hairline defects near the weld seam. Forging S235 is no different. The metal is heated to a specific temperature and set to the parameters and dimensions required for casting and forming.
