Stainless steel spring band thickness 0.05-0.4mm 1.4310 301 foil stainless steel sheet
Stainless steel strip V2A (1.4301) – austenitic steel, acid-resistant, weldable, usable up to 600°C, very good polishing capability. Not suitable for swimming pools and seawater. Use in automotive engineering, food industry, aviation engineering, construction and furniture industry. Available from Auremo.
Description:
Stainless steel strip is a flat finished product made from austenitic stainless steel. It is resistant to acids and can be welded well. Thanks to the low carbon content, after welding the steel is well resistant to intergranular corrosion for thicknesses up to 5 mm. It can be used at temperatures up to 600 °C. V2A strip has very good polishing capability. V2A steel is among the most commonly used commercial steel grades.
Due to its tendency toward stress corrosion cracking, stainless steel strip is unsuitable for applications in swimming pools and in seawater.
Thanks to its excellent properties, stainless steel foil is used in the following areas:
- Automotive engineering. Production of various body components;
- Food industry. Manufacturing of systems, containers, etc.;
- Aviation engineering. Production of complex profiles;
- Construction. Architecture, pipework and manufacturing of ventilation ducts;
- Chemical industry. Transport and storage containers;
- Furniture industry. Fastening and decorative elements, fittings.
Stainless steel strip is characterized by:
- excellent resistance to corrosion;
- insensitivity to acids;
- good heat and weather resistance;
- good processing properties (weldability and machinability).
