The material 1.4923 is also used in the chemical and petrochemical industry, as well as for parts in the energy sector.
The stainless steel 1.4923 is a martensitic stainless steel that is heat-resistant. Due to the low chromium content in the chemical composition, corrosion resistance is limited. Stainless steel 1.4923 is tough and has good mechanical properties at room temperature. Even at high temperatures such as 580 °C, it still shows good mechanical properties. The material 1.4923 can be used without any problems in power plants, chemical production facilities, etc.
