The material 3.3535, widely known under EN AW-5754. This material refers to the group of aluminium-magnesium alloys.
Aluminum sheet made of the material 3.3535 has high strength values among the naturally hard aluminum alloys and also has excellent corrosion resistance in seawater and in the weather.
EN-AW-5754 is also characterized by excellent weldability and has high material fatigue values. The strength in applications at temperatures around 65-160 °C is very good, but the alloy is not suitable for thin and complex extruded applications.
The material 3.3535 is easy to cold-form and very easy to weld using all the usual methods. The alloy is just as suitable for machining.
Aluminum sheet made of the material 3.3535 is used in the chemical and process industry, in container construction in the transport sector, as well as for constructions in the building industry and ship equipment and is generally used in extremely low temperatures.
