Stainless steel is an alloy metal with high corrosion resistance. Corrosion resistance in atmospheric and corrosive environments and at different temperatures is provided by the alloying elements that make up this metal.
AISI 316Ti contains a small amount of titanium. The proportion is about 0.5%. The main advantage of this grade over the other two grades is its higher resistance to high temperatures.
AISI 316Ti has good oxidation resistance in environments with an intermittent temperature of 870 °C and a constant temperature of 925 °C. However, corrosion resistance decreases when the environment is aqueous and the temperature is between 425 and 860 °C.
Stainless steel is widely used in all areas of human life, from mechanical engineering to the manufacture of household appliances and electronics. Stainless steel is now almost irreplaceable in the manufacture of containers for the storage and transport of food.
Our online shop Auremo has a very large selection of different types of steel and you can always choose something without any problems.
