      For the width and length of a sheet metal cut, the tolerance is +/-2mm

      Important: Sheet metal cuts are not suitable for decorative or visible areas. Cutting is done with a guillotine shear. Edges are sharp! Not all sheets have protective film. Surface is pure industrial quality - scratches are not excluded! Please inquire separately in advance - we will try to find a solution for you.

      The material 1.3912 or Invar 36 is a nickel-iron alloy with low expansion and this alloy has 36% nickel. It maintains almost constant dimensions over the range of normal atmospheric temperatures and has a low expansion coefficient from cryogenic temperatures up to about 260 °C. The alloy also retains high strength and toughness at cryogenic temperatures. The material 1.3912 is a nickel-iron alloy with a thermal expansion rate of about one-tenth that of carbon steel at temperatures up to 204 °C.

      This alloy has been used for applications where dimensional changes due to temperature fluctuations need to be minimized, such as in radio and electronic devices, aircraft controls, optical and laser systems, etc.

      Invar 36 can be welded using conventional methods. Care must be taken not to overheat the molten metal. This avoids splashes of molten metal and indentations in the weld area.

      The rods made of material 1.3912 are corrosion-resistant in a dry atmosphere at room temperature. Under unfavorable conditions, i.e., in a humid atmosphere, corrosion in the form of rust may occur.
