Aluminum 1050A (EN AW-1050A / 3.0255) – commercially pure aluminum, very good cold-formable, good weldability, high electrical conductivity, good corrosion resistance. Used in automotive cladding, the chemical and food industries, heat exchangers, and light reflectors. Available from Auremo.
The material 1050A is an aluminum alloy of the 1000 series. It is considered commercially pure and is formulated for primary forming into forged products. In European standards, it is designated as EN AW-1050A, and internationally as 3.0255.
This alloy is characterized by its high electrical conductivity, good corrosion resistance, and good formability and weldability. Due to its properties, it is particularly suitable for:
- Automotive cladding
- Equipment in the chemical and food industries
- Light reflectors
- Strips for heat exchangers
- Sports goods, decoration, equipment manufacturing
