Aluminum 1050A (EN AW-1050A / 3.0255) – commercially pure aluminum, very good for cold forming, good weldability, high electrical conductivity, good corrosion resistance. The material 1050A is an aluminum alloy from the 1000 series. It is considered commercially pure and is formulated for primary forming into forged products. In European standards it is designated as EN AW-1050A, and internationally as 3.0255.
This alloy is characterized by its high electrical conductivity, good corrosion resistance, as well as good formability and weldability. Due to its properties, it is particularly suitable for:
- Automotive cladding
- Equipment in the chemical and food industries
- Light reflectors
- Strips for heat exchangers
- Sports equipment, decoration, apparatus construction
