If you need rods made of material 2.4819, buy them at the Auremo online shop at favorable prices.
The material 2.4819 / Alloy C-276 is known for its corrosion resistance in a variety of aggressive environments. A high molybdenum content ensures resistance to localized corrosion such as pitting.
The low carbon content of 2.4819 minimizes carbide precipitation during welding to maintain resistance to intergranular attack in heat-affected zones of welds. It is used in chemical process engineering, environmental protection, pulp and paper manufacturing, industrial and municipal waste treatment, and the recovery of "sour" natural gas. In air pollution control, the rod 2.4819 is used for chimney linings, ducts, dampers, scrubbers, flue gas reheaters, fans, and fan housings. In chemical process engineering, the alloy is used for components such as heat exchangers, reaction vessels, evaporators, and transfer pipes.
W.Nr. 2.4819 / Alloy C 276 / Inconel C276 / Hastelloy C-276 is resistant to general corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion in a variety of harsh environments. Its resistance to carbide precipitation during welding maintains corrosion resistance in the heat-affected zones of welds.
